Andrew got his start in the working world as a deckhand on his father's commercial salmon troller. He went on to study cellular biology at the University of Washington, and in 2004 graduated with honors from the UW School of Law, where he served as Executive Notes and Comments Editor for the Washington Law Review. After law school, Andrew completed a two-year clerkship for the Hon. John W. Sedwick of the U.S. District Court for the District of Alaska and then joined the U.S. Department of Justice in Washington, D.C., through the Attorney General's Honors Program.
